Can Dogs Eat Beetles? [Bugs, Roaches, Insects]

Of all the weird habits of our dogs, beetle or bug-eating is one of the strongest. We aren’t sure why but many dogs eat beetles, bugs, insects, grasshoppers, moths, and even cockroaches. If you have a beetle eater dog, don’t despair.

But the question is: “Can dogs eat beetles?”

Dogs can eat beetles, and some of them, like grasshoppers, can add some healthy protein to their diet. But eating some beetles can harm your dog.
